The Schubert family has a long history in the North Okanagan. The family home, once owned by Augustus (Gus)
Jr., is now located at the O’Keefe Ranch grounds. Join Robyn for a tour the house and hear the amazing story of the
Overlanders of 1862 as Catherine and Augustus, along with Alexander Fortune, travelled across Canada in the hunt for gold. We will then walk a few steps to the Balmoral School.

Built in 1912 in Balmoral, near Salmon Arm, this one room. schoolhouse also finds itself at the Ranch for safekeeping. You will hear its history and how it came to be at the Ranch.

Light refreshments will be provided.

The O’Keefe Mansion, built in 1886, and was the grandest home in the North Okanagan at the time! Enjoy a personal tour with Robyn and learn about the history of the house and the O’Keefe family who built it. After touring this majestic home, you will then walk over to our General Store for a tour with Diane. Learn about its vital history in an isolated community and about the many goods available to the early settlers and local aboriginal people. Light refreshments will be provided.

Join us in the rose garden beside the Mansion at Historic O’Keefe Ranch for a hands-on Rose Pruning 101 session. This is a great chance to learn practical tips to keep your roses healthy and thriving.

Roger, lead volunteer of the team that prunes the rose garden at Hospice House, will guide participants through the basics of rose pruning.

Bring your own clean pruners if you’d like to practice on our roses.

Cowboy Christmas Dinner Show

The Cowboy Christmas Dinner Show is coming to Rustlers Table Restaurant at Historic O’Keefe Ranch on December 19th and 20th. Rob Dinwoodie and friends will take the stage to bring in Christmas “Cowboy Style” with a dinner and show that will make this Christmas season special.

The show will include a mix of traditional and original Christmas tunes with a good mix of humour, stories, and cowboy poetry. A favorite at the ranch, Rob and the band bring a fun-filled and memorable show every time they perform.

Before dinner and the show, horse-drawn sleigh rides will be available with the purchase of an upgraded dinner show ticket, to help you work up a cowboy-sized appetite for ribs, potatoes, and all the trimmings at our buffet dinner.

Note: Rustlers Table restaurant will be closed Dec.19th - 20th for the Cowboy Dinner Show.

Dates and Pricing:

There are only two shows this season, so make sure you don’t miss out! They are happening on December 19th and 20th from 6:00- 9:00 pm.

Pricing:

  • General Admission Dinner Show Only (6+): $65

  • General Admission Dinner Show and Sleigh Ride (16+): $87

  • Youth Admission Dinner Show and Sleigh Ride (6-16): $77

  • Children under 6: free

    • Please Note: Children under 6 must sit with a parent/guardian if the sleigh is at capacity

    • Sleigh rides are weather-dependent. If snow levels are low, a wagon ride may be substituted. Warm clothes are recommended.

    • Guests would be required to climb steps into the sleigh and be able to walk short distances

A bewitching experience designed for brave little adventurers aged 0 to 12 and their equally daring parents. Great for all ages with stages of scare increasing to allow for both the brave and faint of heart.

Admission to the Ranch is by donation. Once on the grounds, admission to the haunted house is $5 per child. Free for children 5 and under and any accompanying adults. Admission gives you unlimited access for the full day.
