Artifacts
Please contact us through email if you'd like to donate artifacts to the O'Keefe Ranch. Please do not drop items off at the Ranch. Potential artifacts go through a strict process before they are approved. This process can sometimes take many months. Be aware that the artifact will stay in your possession until approval of the donation is completed and arrangements have been made to receive the item.
Our mission is to collect, preserve, interpret, and display historical items. While we prioritize preservation, if your item is intended for active use, or you do not have time to wait for the approval process, you might want to consider donating it as a 'Useful Item' instead.
Useful Items
Have a useful item the Ranch could use? Perhaps it’s a tool for maintenance or a historically accurate item for guest to interact with? Useful items are not incorporated into our collection but play a vital role in enhancing the Ranch experience. Donating tools for maintenance or historically accurate items for guest interaction can greatly enrich the visitor experience.
Cash
Cash donations are a lifeline for us, as they directly support the operations of the Ranch, ensuring they stand the test of time for future generations to enjoy. If you wish to make a cash donation when visiting outside our regular hours, a secure donation box is conveniently located near the gift shop entrance/exit.
